Dr. McMillan cares for patients with non-dental facial pain conditions such as: temporomandibular disorder (TMD), burning mouth syndrome, trigeminal neuralgia, persistent idiopathic facial pain (atypical facial pain) and trigeminal neuropathic pain. The clinic does not cater for oral medicine conditions or dental pain issues.

Dr. McMillan is happy to receive referrals from other healthcare providers or self-referrals by patients. Referral is by completion of the Referral Pro Forma (below).

Facial Pain

Facial pain conditions can be very disabling and often result in negative impact upon a patient's quality of life. These conditions are often misdiagnosed, which can lead to costly and irreversible dental treatment, or surgery and delays in receiving appropriate management.
